Intech Services, in conjunction with the Iowa Waste Reduction Center at the University of Northern Iowa, is pleased to present the VirtualPaint® Training Program for Liquid Teflon™ Fluoropolymer Coatings. This interactive 1 day training program allows attendees to improve their spraying technique, film thickness, and transfer efficiency in a virtual spray environment, eliminating any waste associated with spray application training. Unlike conventional spray training courses, this hands on program will allow attendees far greater opportunities to work on their application technique with almost limitless part geometries to coat.
What is Virtual Paint®?
VirtualPaint® was developed by the Iowa Waste Reduction Center at the University of Northern Iowa in an effort to reduce waste and save time and resources associated with paint spray training. The VirtualPaint® Training system for coatings applicators is part video game, and part hands-on paint clinic where real paint application situations, including the handling of actual painting equipment, is simulated. This system mimics the application of coatings to a virtual surface, providing real time spray efficiency and film thickness results; something that is difficult to track or even calculate in traditional spray training environments. Trainees will have far greater opportunities to improve their spray technique on almost limitless part geometries without the added cost and time implications associated with traditional training.
